beats größtenteils von el-p und durchgehend sehr gut, features passend & gelungen, verpackt in 'nem sehr schönen digipack mit noch schönerem booklet. und mr. lif brennt eh.

40 minuten sind aber doch 'n bißchen arg kurz.

ignite - our darkest days

der melodische teil (incl. äußerst überflüssigem u2 cover) kann zwar im gegensatzt zum vorgänger nicht mehr wirklich begeistern, dafür ist man insgesammt wieder schneller und zum teil auch "härter" geworden

ersteres ist wunderbar entspannter hiphop, zweiteres etwas stressiger, hat dafür aber auch ordentlichen turntable einsatzt. "klassiker" die man sich längst hätte holen sollen sind sowieso beide.

Billy Talent - Billy Talent II (2006)

Endlich ist es da. Die Songs "red flag" und ""devil in a midnight mass" kursierten ja schon seit längerem frei verfügbar durch das Internet und nun ist auch das neue Album der Kanadier letzten Freitag released. Es brennt förmlich voller Energie und Dynamik, auch wenn die Jungs es bei ihrem 2. Album ein klein wenig ruhiger angehen lassen. Immernoch bieten sie aber ausgeflippten Punk/Emocore und wer das Debütalbum hat sollte sich auch unbedingt das 2. zulegen. Daumen hoch.

Aunsahmslos gut, wobei mir von Sniper das neue Album (Trait pour trait) fast besser gefaellt, durch fettere beats u.a. Die "Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra and Tra-La-La Band " besteht aus ehemaligen GYBE!-Mitgliedern, grade das Lied "Horses in the sky" is wunderbar, vor allem wunderbar chillig. Monsieur Clement is franzoesische Chanson (produziert von Albin de la Simone) und Monsieur R ein genau wie Sniper franzoesischer Rap, wegen dem Text von "FranSSe" indiziert, muss zugeben, dass es mich eigentlich vor allem deswegen interessiert hat.
